Beverage Container Recycling Network of Canada (BCRNC) National Plastic Campaign
What is the BCRNC
BCRNC is a collaboration between the beverage container recycling programs from across Canada, with members from British Columbia, Alberta, Northwest Territories, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
National Plastics Campaign
In April, the BCRNC launched a national marketing campaign through its members to promote the recycling of plastic beverage containers, utilizing a consistent message from coast to coast. The campaign focused on three key strategies:
- Harmonized Message: Develop a unified and compelling message emphasizing the importance of recycling plastic beverage containers. This consistent narrative will strengthen the impact of the campaign and enhance public understanding.
- Branding Unity: Incorporate the logos of each affiliate seamlessly into campaign materials to create a cohesive visual identity. This approach reinforces the collaborative nature of our initiative and leverages the strengths of each affiliate.
- Social Media Amplification: Utilize the diverse social media platforms of each affiliate to maximize outreach. By coordinating efforts and maintaining a shared content calendar, we can ensure a synchronized online presence.
